net start named failed

Error messages:

Mar 12 12:32:35 18SF2Q42 named: PID 17367: socket: file descriptor exceeds
limit (128/64)
Mar 12 12:32:35 18SF2Q42 named: PID 17367: could not listen on UDP socket:
not enough free resources

Please shed some light

googled a bit and tried: "/usr/sbin/named -f -g -S 256" but no joy

Have you installed cygrunsrv package to wrap and manage Unix daemons on Windows,
and read docs and FAQ on use. [bind should depend on cygrunsrv]

Have you run /usr/sbin/named-config elevated?
