[ITP] catdoc-0.94.2-1

Reini Urban
I want to contribute and maintain catdoc, the GNU MS-Office File reader.

What:
http://xarch.tu-graz.ac.at/publ/cygwin/release/catdoc/catdoc-0.94.2-1-src.tar.bz2
http://xarch.tu-graz.ac.at/publ/cygwin/release/catdoc/catdoc-0.94.2-1.tar.bz2
http://xarch.tu-graz.ac.at/publ/cygwin/release/catdoc/setup.hint

Where else:
http://search.rpmseek.com/search.html?cs=catdoc:PN
Debian, Mandrake, ...

Attached is the README with the full list.

BTW: I wonder if people want wv, htmldoc and antiword also.
I need to maintain a lot of such Text packages within my company
for xapian. xapian and xapian-omega will be ITP'ed later.

Dump Word, Excel and Powerpoint files contents

Runtime requirements: (versions given or later)
  cygwin-1.5.x

Build requirements: (versions given or later)
  cygwin-1.5.x
  gcc-core
  binutils
  make
  bash
  fileutils
  sed
  autoconf2.1-2.13

Canonical homepage:
  http://www.45.free.net/~vitus/software/catdoc/

Canonical download:
  http://ftp.45.free.net/pub/catdoc/${PN}-${PV}.tar.gz

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Build instructions:
If you use setup to install this src package, it will be
  unpacked under /usr/src automatically.

  cd /usr/src
  tar xfvj catdoc-<VER>-src.tar.bz2
  test -e /usr/bin/autom4te-2.13 || ln -s /usr/bin/autom4te-2.5x /usr/bin/autom4te-2.13
  cygport catdoc-<VER>-<CYGREL>.cygport almostall

This will create:
  /usr/src/catdoc-<VER>-<CYGREL>.tar.bz2
  /usr/src/catdoc-<VER>-<CYGREL>-src.tar.bz2

Or use 'cygport catdoc-<VER>-<CYGREL>.cygport prep' to get a patched source directory

Compiles fine from source, packaging looks good, GTG.

That would be great so I can get rid of my self compiled versions which
are more than 5 years old by now.

One minor thing, maybe your setup hint should require tcltk otherwise
the included /usr/bin/wordview which uses wish, will not function.

antiword is already part of the distribution.

I have wv and wv2 in Cygwin Ports CVS, under ports/libs/{wv,wv2}, so if
you want to maintain them (fine with me), I'll at least save you the work.

BTW: Those typos were upstream also :)
